SECTION 1: SYSTEM OVERVIEW

The purpose of this Cockpit Reference Guide is

to provide the pilot a resource with which to ﬁnd

operating instructions on the major features of the

G1000 system more easily. It is not intended to be a

comprehensive operating guide. Complete operating

procedures for the complete system are found in the

G1000 Pilot’s Guide for the Quest Kodiak 100 (190-

00590-00):

This guide gives the pilot abbreviated operating

instructions for both Primary Flight Displays (PFD), Multi

Function Display (MFD), and the GMA 1347 Audio Panel

System.

NOTE: The pilot should read and thoroughly

understand the Quest Kodiak 100 Pilot’s

Operating Handbook (POH) for limitations,

procedures and operational information not

contained in this Cockpit Reference Guide. The

Quest Kodiak 100 POH always takes precedence

over the information found in this guide.
